Announcement of Second International Symposium on Engineering Mechanics and its Applications

We are pleased to inform you the 2nd International Symposium on Engineering Mechanics and Its Applications will be held in Kitakyushu, and hosted by Kyushu Institute of Technology. The symposium covers industrial engineering applications including theoretical and analytical methods, numerical simulations and experimental techniques. One of the aims of symposium is to promote cooperation between the international researchers.

Important dates:
    Abstract submission deadline: March 31(SUN), 2013

Full paper submission deadline: June 30(SUN), 2013 (Template file is attached)

      Symposium: August 29(THU)-31(SAT), 2013

      Post symposium tour: August 31(SAT)-September 3(TUE), 2013

First day of the symposium (August 29 (THU))

   18:00-21:00 (120 minutes): Welcome party

 

Second day of the symposium (August 30 (FRI))

9:00-10:20 (80 minutes): 4 presentations

10:40-12:00 (80 minutes): 4 presentations

13:00-13:40 (40 minutes): 2 presentations

14:00-15:40 (100 minutes): Student session

16:00-17:30 (90 minutes): Field trip of facility of Civil Engineering Department at K.I.T.

18:00-20:00 (120 minutes): Banquet

 

Third day of the symposium (August 31 (SAT))

9:00-10:40 (100 minutes): 5 presentations

11:00-12:40 (100 minutes): 5 presentations

13:30-15:10 (100 minutes): 5 presentations

15:30-15:50: Closing

 

 

Participant fee:

The participant fee is 5,000yen for students and 10,000yen for teachers (The teachers and students from overseas universities do not need to pay for the participant fee)
